What should I look for when purchasing vitamins and supplements to ensure I’m getting the safest, highest quality products?

ChildLife products have third-party certifications, meaning they are tested by independent ISO-accredited laboratories, ensuring all label claims are met, are specifically designed for children by a pediatrician, and contain no artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners.

Are ChildLife® products gluten free?

Yes, we are proud to say that all ChildLife® products are gluten free.

Why are ChildLife® products great for kids with allergies?

The majority of our products do not contain top 9 allergens. However, we have a select few that are clearly labeled with "fish," such as Cod Liver Oil, or "milk," such as Probiotics with Colostrum. Additionally, we do not use any artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners.

What are probiotics?

Probiotics are healthy, live microorganisms, typically bacteria or yeast, that when consumed in adequate amounts, offer health benefits by promoting a healthy and balanced gut microbiome.*

Can adults use ChildLife Essentials® products?

Yes, adults can benefit from using ChildLife Essentials®, also!  Just double the dose for adults.

Why are Omega 3 oils so important for children?

60% of the brain is made from and runs on fats and oils, most of which are one single fatty acid DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). (Schmidt, M et al 97). So, the most important and prevalent nutrient that the brain requires to grow properly and to function properly is DHA, which is found in Omega 3 oils.

One study, J.Pediatrics, Jan, 2003, showed that when mothers supplemented their diet with Omega 3 DHA, during pregnancy and also while nursing their baby, that it increased the child’s IQ.

Are ChildLife Essentials products certified kosher/halal?

None of our products contain pork or shellfish.

Do any ChildLife Essentials products contain sesame?

No, all ChildLife Essentials products are sesame-free.

What is the source of ascorbic acid?

Ascorbic acid is derived from non-GMO sources, such as corn, through a natural fermentation process.

What is the source of Vitamin D3?

The source of Vitamin D3 is lanolin. Lanolin is a natural substance derived from sheep's wool, and it serves as a source of raw material for the production of vitamin D3 supplements.

Will your products interfere with my medical condition or any medications I am taking?

Dietary supplements may interact differently depending on individual health conditions and medications. We recommend speaking to a healthcare provider for specific concerns regarding medical conditions or medications.

I'm new to supplements...where is a good place to start?

We recommend starting with Multi Vitamin & Mineral, Liquid Vitamin C, Liquid Calcium with Magnesium, and Vitamin D3.

Are your products suitable during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding?
