The trick to making this really rich and thick is to freeze the banana ahead of time. Just peeled the banana, cut it into 1-inch pieces, put it in a baggie, and freeze it for a couple of hours. Try this with coconut milk, or use any other dairy-free milk (or regular milk if you prefer).

Ingredients
  

  • 1 banana cut into chunks and frozen
  • 2 oranges peeled, seeded, and cut into quarters
  • ¼ – ½ cup coconut milk or dairy free milk of choice
  • 15 ice cubes
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Put the banana, oranges, ¼ cup milk, ice cubes, and vanilla into a blender and process on high until thick and smooth. Add more coconut milk if too thick.
